This foundation was just for "practice" our builder said. It's 5 feet too close to the "no build zone," so it will be torn down and a new one will have to be built. The surveyor was consistently wrong with the calculations, but nonetheless, wrong. I'm glad that Matt and I won't have to be involved with the negotiations over who is paying for that costly mistake - it's not us! :) Until this issue, we were hopeful to have the house finished before our official close date of October 15th, 2012, but now it looks like we are going to be moving in mid-October.
