To Deck or Not To Deck, That is the Question...

 The pink stakes mark the edge of the buildable space on our lot, due to the creek and easement. As you can see, property line aside, we don't have much buildable space left and our deck will be somewhat puny - not even a cantilever will pass inspection. Don't even get us started on the stairs... pretty much our deck will be a balcony.
