As I embark on Day 2 of school closure, I'm attempting to prioritize work, since it is a work day and I'm able to easily work from home, and so is my husband. I want to confirm that I am following the rules and share my sanity plan...
Here's where my logic takes me for our health and safety...
For my sanity, you'll find me and my kids outside, when the sun comes out (I even took Lexie on a walk in the rain today) and our schedules allow, especially since we face many more days of this isolation.
- We all feel healthy - check (and grateful!!).
- I'm working from home, so is my husband, my daughters are home too - check.
- We understand that the issue is that the virus can be spread unknowingly by contact with infected globules - check.
- The way to reduce contact with infected globules is to distance from other people - check (sad).
Here's where my logic takes me for our health and safety...
- As a human, spending time outside is healthy.
- The more time spent in isolation, the more time I need to spend outside.
- I'm not at risk of infected globules outside, unless there are infected people carrying infected globules outside.
- Naturally, you can safely distance more easily from other people when outside.
- Therefore, outside is the safest and healthiest place to be!
For my sanity, you'll find me and my kids outside, when the sun comes out (I even took Lexie on a walk in the rain today) and our schedules allow, especially since we face many more days of this isolation.
