Our amazing little girl has already come off the ventilator, with less than 48 hours of life outside the womb! She was doing so well, that the doctors made the decision easily. The concern is that her new CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) - a little hat that she wears over her nose and head, puts a little more pressure on her skin, which is not fully developed. They are rotating its placement every 2 hours as that skin matures. She is breathing on her own, though and that is just one of the miracles this baby has pulled off!
Our amazing big girl is really excited to be a big sister! Stella was so proud to wear sunglasses, just like her little sister. She was on her best behavior to say hello to Cora for the first time today and even gave us a good first family shot!
