Skipper's Stats

There have been a lot of numbers thrown around, but these are my most memorable from when we first got here...

Ultrasound showed that Skipper is 1lb, 9oz (just over 1.5lbs). This is on the smaller end of the range for 25 weeks, but this was taken on the first day of 25 weeks, the day her water broke.

Her heart rate has been tracking around 140bpm. This on its own doesn't really mean much to me, but when they tracked it for 24 hours... The doctors were so impressed with her variability - suggest great neural development!! (Music to my ears.)

I am so grateful that she is one active baby... Now that we're not on constant monitoring, my best reassurance is feeling her move around in there! It's a little more difficult for her to move now that she's not swimming in a fluid... Almost like she's trying to move under a wet blanket. She is strong!!

She is currently positioned as Footling Breech, which the nurse said was a good sign that she's not ready to come out yet! Best case... She stays that way until 34 weeks and then goes head down, so no more C-Section... Here's where all of our positive thoughts and prayers can come in!
