11 Weeks (77 Days) - 36 Gestational Weeks

After two straight nights of 70 gram weight gains, it is safe to say we're back on track!
1790 grams, just over 3lbs 15oz - less than an ounce to 4lbs
It was a big Snow Day today in North Carolina - the kind of fast-moving winter storm that we are NOT used to... I typically visit Cora on Wednesday afternoons, but, the forcast made me want to get to her earlier than that to beat the impending snow/ice. So, instead of getting there for her 2pm feeding, I got there at her 11am feeding. Nothing had fallen when I arrived. We had an OK bottle feeding session (1ml) then a good Kangaroo. Matt texted at the end of the Kangaroo that the snow/ice had started. So, I quickly pumped and got to the car. I pulled out of the parking deck and immediately hit some really bad road conditions on my way to the Durham Freeway. The roads were slippery and the traffic was congested. In a Prius, without lunch and without a pump, I was not willing to take the chance of getting stranded on the side of the road. So, I came back to the hospital. I had a nice afternon with Cora and prepared to stay the night at the hospital (even had a nice recliner picked out for my bed)... Thankfully, our good neighbor friends have a 4-wheel-drive car and came to get me - Thank you Ronda & Kelly!! I'm happy to be blogging from home, tonight.

I'll post some pictures of our snow-day tomorrow, that I'm so pleased to be spending with Stella B!
