Happy Third Birthday Stella B!!

It is hard to believe that my big girl turned 3 years old today! She is such a joy and we are so proud of her. She certainly celebrated hard and has had a really big week of being doted on and played with by all her grandparents and aunt & uncles! As the first grandchild on both sides, it will be a big change when Cora comes home, but I know Stella B can handle it. She was super-sweet for her party and then visiting her sister, tonight. Stella - Mommy & Daddy love you with all our hearts and we are so proud of you!

Cora's update is that she continues to do well and she is SO close to being a member of the Kilo Club (1000 grams/2.2lbs), which is a big milestone. Weight will hopefully start to pile on at a faster rate once she passes the kilo mark. Our Kangaroo was a bit unsettling, she was desatting a bunch and had a brady. I believe it was positional, and she settled right down once she got back into her isolette, but it's never fun to feel like you're not helping to comfort/calm your child. Apparently, we should expect that some days she just will want to be alone, but it's not super-fun to experience. It was a bit stressful for Aunt Ginnie & Uncle Chris' first visit, but they were lucky to catch her with her nasal cannula! They mentioned how her pictures do not do justice to her beauty! Of course, I agree, but I know I'm majorly biased!! :)

Another big piece of news is that Cora had her 30-day neural ultra-sound today and it showed no signs of trauma, which is a giant relief!! Woo Hoo!
