I am bursting with delight to report that Cora is doing so well, that she will have both her PICC line and her CPAP removed TODAY! She has been a little fussy the last couple days (with stronger cries) and we believe it is because her PICC line in her arm bugs her and we know that she does not like the big CPAP mask over her head/face (she constantly tugs at it). So, this news is great on many levels - I believe it will make her more comfortable and also, her behavior and test results show that she is progressing enough to not need these anymore!
Tomorrow, I should be able to see her face for our entire Kangaroo. What a joy that will be. She will still have nasal cannula, but that is much more tolerable. I am really looking forward to seeing her tomorrow!

This selfie with Cora is, hopefully, the last time that she'll have this big hat/mask!! She was really zonked/happy for our snuggle today. I didn't want it to end. The experience of Kangarooing when she is happily sleeping versus sleeping/crying with alarms going off, is literally night and day.
I'm almost high on today's visit!! :)
Best news ever!
